Neuromuscular Therapy

What is neuromuscular Therapy?

Neuromuscular therapy is a focused manual therapy technique that applies pressure to specific trigger points in muscles, tendons, and soft tissues.  It is used to relieve chronic pain, improve posture, and restore normal movement.

What conditions can neuromuscular therapy help with?

It may help relieve chronic muscle pain, tension headaches, neck and back pain, sciatica, sports injuries, or muscle tightness from repetitive movements.

Does Neuromuscular Therapy hurt?

Some spots may feel tender, especially around the trigger points, but the pressure is always adjusted to your comfort level, and most people feel relief and better movement afterwards.

Are you sore after neuromuscular therapy

Sometimes you can feel a little tender, sore or tight in the worked muscles for a day or two.  It usually just feels like post-workout soreness.

How is neuromuscular therapy different from regular massage?

Neuromuscular Therapy targets specific muscles and trigger points that contribute to pain and restricted movement, while traditional massage generally focuses on overall relaxation and stress relief.
